Dear RK:
I first congratulate you on the work you are doing, I am writing this email reacting to an article which was published on your website on the dates of 27-11-08 which stated that I am an intelligence officer working for Rwanda and then arrested with allegations of working for France. I would like to point out this:
- I am not an intelligence officer rather I am a student of Kigali institute of Education in 3rd year Bussiness administration and a civilian too.
- I don't work for the Rwandan Government rather I am a simple Rwandan doing contracts
- I have never met Col Patrick Karegeya though I know him and I think that meeting him is not a crime rather it is a prestige to any Rwandan.
- Indeed I was arrested on 31-oct-08 because of some simple questions the Rwandan police were questioning me, that is why I was released immediately after questioning.
- I have never met Kabuga nor his coullegues though I visited Kenya.
- I visit Uganda like any other Rwandan born in Uganda not on other purposes, I believe that I am entitled the right of visiting any country in the world.
- I do not know Dr Ndahilo nor President Kagame, I have never spoke to them even on a phone, I just know how they look becouse they are our leaders.
-On the issue of Mukombozi R, I was surprised becouse Mukombozi was my friend so much, the reason why people, I think mentioned my Name its becouse I was on the same bus with him coming from Uganda when he was declared PNG (persona non grata), and even seating on the nearby seats. As far as I know I was the first person to help him and to call other friends asking for help.
Because of all of those facts I have pointed out, I am requesting you to let all Readers of Radio katwe to understand those facts, I will also answer any ones question if there are there on: fassimwe@yahoo.com or +250 0835 4505.

Dear RK,
Reading between lines of Mr. Fred Assimwe's rebutall that "he is not an intelligence operative", what comes to mind is that, any sensible analyst would come to the logical conclusion that he has actually made matters worse by trying to refute RK allegations.
In his submission, he indirectly confirmed that he may actually be one of those in an intelligence outfit. The best Mr. Assimwe may have done to himself would have been to keep quiet and the whole matter may have fizzled out. But instead he reincarnated the whole allegation and made things worse for himself.
He ought to borrow a leaf from M7 and his cohorts who have opted to take RK bitter pills hands down, Amuru Oil Fields and Junk Operation Lightning Thunder inclusive.
