Someone Please Help Our Nurses and Hospital Staff!
Dear RK,
We the employees of Mulago Hospital need proffectional counselling. The reason is because we were trained to save people's lives but not to helplessly watch as they breath their last breath.
When we attend to a person and put in all our effort with everything required at our disposal, even if this person dies, we feel satisfied that we have done your best but it was God's case.
But when a mother brings her child with severe malaria and we don't even have a canula (needle) to administer an intravenous drug "if at all the mother can afford to buy one form the nearby drugshop" and the child dies as we helplessly watch as it happens everyday at Acute Care Ward in Mulago Hospital, then we are also personally affected by this child's death.
Many of us at this ward have a changed personality and we need counselling. We watch children die every day and it has now become normal and this why we need couselling.
Concerned Health worker.

NRM Caucus Speaks Only With Their Tribal Chiefs' Voice
Dear RK,
While touring Eastern uganda, President Museven reminded all Ugandans and whoever wanted to hear that there is no Paliament but only a rubber stamp to pass his narrow minded ideas.
He told a rally that the constituences lead by oposition MPS are orphans because every decision in Uganda is passed in the Movement caucus and only sent to paliament for stamp.
Every Ugandan knows that there is no discussion in movement caucus. Museveni chairs the caucus, lectures to them what ever he wants, does not allow them to question or give their views and walks away.
The lecture notes are taken to paliament and passed by his majority MPS and Uganda get the laws. One man's opinion becomes law and that is why we are heading for disaster.
Ugandans should know that we are led by a Tribal Chief who unfortunately took over the Presidency. He was supposed to be a leader during the early 18th Century, unfortunately he came late. Try to think about all that Museveni does, then you will realise that he is only fit to be a tribal Chief. Look at his appointments, his so called vision all is centered on one tribe and of late he is narrowing his vision to his family.

Nobody Likes Turncoat "Honorables"
Dear Radio Katwe, Sometimes I feel it is worthiless to send articles as I veiw Uganda and what is importart to ugandan. Some time back I sent an article in responce to Betty Bigombes article on the 6 I thnk of june or the like this article has never shown up. It was reassuring a write that it is not only Acholi who dont want these fake people. We Baganda we have many Such as Nsibambi Hajati Mukwaya and the like. Any reasoning why these never show up. I hope it is not because I misse a M7.
Okay this is what I have today in comment to the article
Under "swine" rule, people were more organised
Thre are two short comments I need to put here:-
First if Amin was a swine then M7 is a double swin or super swine
Second If we wait on busses to Kisolo to get filled before they can embark on their trips, so is M7 and the family they will realise time to go when they have filled their stomachs, question is when is that? The writter should not get confused on all development, we do things after the leader the common saying Dont do as I do but as I say does not work. He tells people we are fighting corruption, what does he do. Sometime back when AIDS had so much focus, he came out telling people to abstain, hahahah I wonder how much of that he has done. Children alover the place( Jannet, Kyambadde, Njubba and many more)
Can you Radio Katwe ask fellow country men to send a list of all those concubines hes got children with? This would also show what a visionary guy we have in state house.
Radio Katwe please have this out this time

NSSF Looting
Dear RK,
While the workers MPs are sleeping or eating with Museveni NSSF is now being looted bare, and that is the reason Bakoko was thrown out and threatened because she did not allow Museveni and his lot to loot NSSF, as most of the sugarcane cutters (contributors?) come from West Nile.
Now that she is gone, the corruption deals are increasing day by day, the Temangalo land where Mbabazi and Nzeyi are involved, the pension towers, the URA deal, the Alcon deal etc etc Museveni is quiet about them because his agenda of looting NSSF IS NOW ON WITH HIS PERMISSION AND DIRECTIVE.
He was worried the funds could promote opposition, as the Bakoko board was accused of giving the NSIIMBE Project to "UPC and opposition", that is the real reason the project was sabotaged.
The only way to stop Museveni is for the workers to appeal to their international counter parts as was the case when AGOA Girls were sacked and Uganda nearly lost the AGOA membership. AFCLIO will bring Uganda and Museveni to their knees

Partial List of what we have lost
RK thanks for keeping your readers informed.
One reader asked for a list of parastatals that have been sold by M7 regime and below find some important ones. Readers should know that according to Privatization Unit that has been responsible for sale of these public enterprises at one time indicated that not much money was realized from the sale and that the little that was realized was used to pay off the debts that these parastatals had incurred. There could however be some balance on the sale of Uganda Commercial Bank but since this is at the disposal M7, one may not tell whether even that is still there or not or it could have been taken and kept in some other bank and will be used to buy votes come 2011.The list includes:-
- Uganda Commercial Bank
- Uganda Consolidated Properties
- Coffee Marketing Board
- Lint Marketing Board
- Produce Marketing Board
- Uganda Electricity Board
- Foods and Beverages
- Uganda Posts & Telecommunications
- Uganda Development Corporation (UDC)
- Nyanza Textiles
- Uganda Tea Growers Corporation
- Uganda Tea Authority
- Uganda Leather Tanning Industry
- Apollo Hotel Corporation- Now Sheraton Hotel
- Nile Hotel- Now Serena Hotel
- Uganda Hotels
- Uganda Railways Corporation
- Uganda Transport Company
- Uganda Airlines Corporation
- Uganda Cooperative Bank - the bank that was set up to cater for Cooperative Unions and cooperatives. Their destruction was malice of the highest order. No sensible Ugandan leader would have done such a stupid mistake. The country lost a well developed, production and marketing network from grassroots to apex. The known problems the Cooperative Unions had were mainly managerial which could easily be sorted out with time, but the principles on which these unions were built were sound and are practiced in developed countries like Denmark. M7 has been trying to revive Cooperative Unions but he will not succeed because people who educated their children by selling their coffee and cotton through the former Cooperative Unions can never trust him. He is still trying to develop them through SACCOS under Bonna Bagagawale but still it will not work. The destruction of these Cooperative Unions and their affiliated Cooperative Societies should be used by opposition parties as a strong weapon
to deny M7 votes wherever these institutions were. They were actually everywhere. Where you did not have Cooperative Union based on production and marketing of coffee you had one for cotton.
- Dairy Corporation (that is said to have been paid for with a dollar!)
- National Housing and Construction Corporation
- Starch Co in Lira (forget the name)
- Katwe Salt Co (forget the name)
- National Insurance Corporation
- National Social Security Fund
- National Water & Sewerage Corporation
These last two have not been privatized.
The list was long but these were the biggest whose proceeds should have been used to build at least a block of offices to show Ugandans what at least was realized from the sale of their assets. Where did the proceeds go? Will M7 tell us?
Stay informed. RK Reader.

Is Museveni Fake?
Dear RK
Sometimes, I wonder whether the guy uses make-ups or skin lightening cream to appear light skinned. This may sound silly, but look at the photo on the Daily Mornitor of Monday,August 18 "Gen. Museveni fires Brigadier over 250m" and other older photos from the "bush war" and the early 80s. The man was dark skinned and skinny. Look at him now! He seems always to look bigger than (of course shorter) than most any other persons in any group photos. We know he wears body armour ( bullet proof vest) under those over sized designer imposter suits. And may be " the camera angle" as he once commented about Dr. Besiges's campaign crowds. A lot of anabolic steriods can do the same trick too, to appear bigger.
This article is meant to throw lights on how this leader can do anything, including changing appearences to stay in power and to please his masters. Somehow it remains me of Micheal Jackson...
Just a thought.
Radio Katwe comment: Museveni's body armour does exaggerate his body contours, but peoples color tone in photos can be made by the setting on the camera, or later using software, so don't think much about it.
However, he goes around proclaiming how he is still healthy and fit, but he carries a small hospital wherever he goes. If he stops taking the cocktail of drugs that keep him alive then you can guess what colour he might turn.
Museveni is completely out of touch with reality maybe an early case of senility.
Museveni is being quoted as being surprised that there is still poverty in Uganda, for a man who did not even own one cow before 1986. He has a very short memory.
He lives in a mansion of Gabdolite (former Mobutu) standards, flies in a private jet spends money in his state house that dwarfs most ministry budgets and is ever asking for supplementary budgest to keep his bootlickers and extravagant family and hangers on fed and taken care of hand and foot. All paid for from the taxes the poor peasants and other over taxed hard working Ugandans that he mocks with his simplistically populist bonna bagagawale - what an idiot!
Why is anybody surprised that Muhoozi has never passed an Exam is his life and wouldn't pass one to save his own life. The old adage that says like Father Like Son rings so true. Everyone who cares to remember knows that Dar es Salaam Uni if its actually true that thats where our visionary attended his University and the brainiac went there and got a pass Degree voila! its deja-vu all over again for Muhoozi the genius to follow in his Fathers footsteps!
Look at the the "Second Lady",(since RK reliably informed us the the first Lady is Kyambadde),
she did a Mature Education Degree in Makerere and "graduated" but without attending lectures or sitting Exams. Thats one genius for you! The precious daughters dabbled in this and that and ended up realising the inevitable, school was not for them.
I have also noticed Museveni wearing winter clothes In a very tropical Uganda complete with gloves, toque and winter Jackets and scarf in 26 degree heat, especially in his evening press conferences!. Is that Maalo or what? i guess after his $1 million a trip to Europe and wherever he always comes back and wants to show how delicate and different he is by looking like a kangaroo in a dinner jacket!
He is the only Ugandan i know who wears Winter clothes in the whole country, not even the nkuba kyeyos who live most of their lives in those countries that experience winter ever put on such fake airs when they return. They in fact find the 15 degrees we get in Ugandan nights balmy.
Museveni is the only World leader who has gone on record to say he is glad food prices are sky rocketing, i guess thats because for 25 years he has never had to buy food from his own pocket and even if he did his pocket is very deep, its the whole consolidated fund and Bank of Uganda put together! He simplistically thinks that the farmers are also the traders who sell the food in Nakasero and Owino. That from a man who supposedly studied Economics!
When all else fails he heads to some village buys some peasants with his envelopes and dances to his own illusions of popularity. While carrying radio which tunes into all the Radios to hear who is saying what about him. That is called Paranoia in English. Museveni is a Coward of unimaginable proportions. Like we used to say in primary school cowards live longer! the only reason Museveni is still here its because he is a coward!
I thought i should also touch on the subject of Museveni the coward threatening so called rebel MP's with a fight like the one he fought against Kony! that statement had me in stitches.
Saying that he fought Kony gives the impression that Museveni won against Kony! Museveni has been bribing Kony not to fight, from sending him liquid cash to begging the ICC not to convict Kony which makes all the people who suffered inder Kony seem like collateral damage not human beings!
From choppering his Mother etc...
Museveni did not win against Kony and Kony did not win as Kony was never a factor in that so called war, it was economics and Politcs at play!
So the rebel MP's should relax and make merry if after 20 years Kony is still in our vocabulary by the time anything happens to these MP'S Museveni will be 90 years old and will probably not even know his own name considering how much of the ten point programme he has forgotten. Amnesia comes naturally to him.
For God and My Country.
Mpora Mpora
Radio Katwe comment: Museveni's appearance in public is affected by the level of his health and paranoia at a particular time, plus protective clothing he wears (including the gloves. As a highly decorated general in the arts of 'chemical warfare', he is well aware of how vulnerable a person is just through touch). Be very observant and guard against misreading the man.

Itongwa's 'Ten Point Program'
A reaction to the Major Itogwa's document, (see "Statement by Major Herbert Itongwa on his reasons for fighting Museveni" 23 Feb 2008 on front page -Ed) which i can term as his then,"TEN POIN PROGRAM". TO MY SUPRISE, although in the year 1995,i was still young to join an armed rebellion with the clear consiense, but still i can't grasp it now that i would even support him if comes now. However it entrusts us with the need of having our eyes open widely, to learn from the history, and have such crimes by M7 orders stopped here, on what ever price need be because we have already paid alot.
But as a ugandan, endowed with the best blood of brotherhood,i must question Itongwa, why,as a ugandan, freedom fighter,a patriot, and most of all a muganda?..The reason he had, upon refusal of not alerting Kayira, before he was mudered. Can we as Ugandans assume, that Itongwa never knew that Kayira needed to suervive? Had itongwa only realised the ill deedes of Museven on the eve of 1995?. let however no body, tell me yes, because he wouldn't himself have then ran for his dear life.
That then above, brings another concern,on whom should supported, because, the to day highly cherished opposers were once under Mseven's command, and yet they can't openly reveal what exactly took place.I therfore,as an FDC, stounch suppoter ask Our Beloved Besigye to come to mind and openly critisise the then deeds of His master M7.because he has nothing left to protect, but to let the truth shine for the best.Remember once "someone has ever tasted on the bitter fruits of danger, then there is nothing left for him to fear"
Still in love for our country, May we live to see 2moros sunshine. karyamon@yahoo.com.

Torture victim needs help
REF:
"MAJOR GENERAL MUGISHA MUNTU'S ATROCITIES BEFORE JOINING FDC EXPOSED" (from RADIO KATWE 07-09-2007)
Fellow country men/women, RK readers, human rights org in Uganda, human rights org in UK, UN human rights.
I have been following up an article published by RK on 07-09-2007 concerning one gentleman who was tortured and sentenced to death by Mugisha Muntu and Milton Byemaro in December 1986.
I managed to talk to the man. He showed me his broken fingers, and he is left with only one testicle due to the torture from Mugisha Muntu and NRM GOVERNMENT. This man is afraid to come back to Uganda, he is traumatised. Who should be held responsible for the torture of this innocent man? What help can this man get? Must this man be compensated for the torture he endured? Who is going to apologise or compensate this man? Will the money bring back his testicle? Why can't NRM government and Mugisha Muntu be prosecuted? I kindly request human rights to try and contact this man, he needs help. To contact this man you can pass through RK PUT DOWN YOUR PHONE NUMBER, THIS MAN WILL CONTACT YOU.

Under "swine" rule, people were more organised
Dear radio Katwe,
HAVE WE MODERNISED OUR PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM IN UGANDA IN THE LAST 22 YEARS?
Today I am not talking about pot holes because we Ugandans are now used to them and they are part of our life for many years to come. When a country is led by people who grew up knowing nothing other than village paths full of cow dung, you don't expect much from them. To them the pot holed roads are better than the village paths.
Today I am talking about unsheduled public transport. Today, after 22 years of uninterupted leadership of our visionery leader Tibahaburwa Museveni, there is no sheduled public transport system in place. Whe I wa young, and that is during the leadership of what Museveni calls "Swine", we had sheduled transport going to all parts of the country.
All Uganda Transport Company Buses travelled on schedule and we in the villages used their schedule to estimated the time.
Early morning bus 8:00 am mid morning bus 10:00am Noon Bus and so on.
Today, In Museveni's modern leadership, if you want to go to Kisoro, you have to first have your supper here in Kampala, then you head for the Bus park and get either a bus that leaves around 10:00pm depending on the time it is full and arrive in Kisoro at 7:00am OR you board one which leaves Kampala at around Mid night and arrives in Kisoro at 9:00 am All this depends on when the bus is filled.
You don't have any other choice. If you are in hurry, you may risk and take a matatu to Kabale, then board a pickup to Kisoro.
If you want to use a bus during the day, you board a bus that leaves Kampala at 4:00pm depending on avaialbility of passengers and arrive in Kabale at 11:00pm, spend a night in Kabale, the head for Kisoro the following day.
This is not unique for Kisoro. Ask people going to Arua and the shedule of their buses.
Museveni is allargic to Rialways and they were the first to eliminate when he took power. Ask people who go to Kasese and what time their vehicles leave. This is the moerdern state Museveni has created. Long Leave Visionery Leader.
JJ. Kampala.

Remigius Kintu Document
Hello Radio Katwe, thank you for such a very useful job you are doing to Uganda. Here is a document which you might be interested in to read:
The following is only part of a very big document concerning Museveni's master plan. Below is only page 12.
You can find the entire document on:
http://www.grandslacs.net/doc/3588.pdf
Here is page 12:
THE GRAND PLAN TO CONTROL AND DOMINATE THE EAST
AND CENTRAL AFRICAN REGION.
In 1979, another development was taking place in Rwanda. A group of Rwandese (mostly Tutsis) in Rwanda launched an opposition party named RWANDESE ALLIANCE FOR NATIONAL UNITY (RANU) calling for national unity and the return of exiled Rwandese. That party was forced to go underground and was maintained by Rwandese exiles. In 1987, a year after Museveni took power; it changed its name to RWANDESE PATRIOTIC FRONT (RPF). It enjoyed support from many Tutsis in Museveni s regime who were at the same time camouflaging as Banyankole or Bakiga.
Tutsis occupied strategic and controlling positions in Museveni s regime, thus achieving their primary objective: that of controlling Uganda and using it as a staging ground to
take over other countries. Fred Rwigyema (first leader of RPF) was Minister of Defense; Paul Kagame was Director of Military Intelligence, and responsible for exterminating Ugandans who could be real or imaginary opposition. He operated his death camp in Basiima House at Mengo and at various other locations. Other Tutsis in the control of Uganda was Pierre Kabatzi. Peter Bayingana was Chief of Medical Service for Uganda Prisons. Chris Bunyenyezi was Administration Chief at Army Headquarters.
Soon after Museveni took over, he lured the Rwandan leader J. Habyarimana to accept lifting travel document requirements for citizens of Uganda and Rwanda. A special bus service between Kampala and Kigali was established by Tutsis in Museveni s
government. Its daily runs from Kampala, in most cases, went half full and always returned full of people from Kigali. This activity went on till shortly before October 1, 1990, when the RPF commenced their invasion.
continues.....

Revising the 'Master Plan'
Dear Editor,
I have today read one of the letters under Readers' Letters posted on 06 August 2008 and last updated on 09 August 2008.
The letter is headed: WMD is '50 Year Master Plan' being operationalized by a Concerned Reader.
I just chanced on it and I think it is such an important letter that people must read. Where it is now, I am sure many readers have missed it, just like I missed it earlier but was only lucky to have come accross it today!
My request is, is it possible for you to bring it out as a heading on its own so that people read it properly?
Thank you.
Radio Katwe comment: Yes of course, if anyone missed it, you are encouraged to read the full 'Master Plan' document and the many comments readers made can go to "Hima clan Master Plan Conspiracy (underground document)" of 12 Dec 2007 on the front page.

Pass Dual Citizenship Bill Now!
Because the NRM (goverment) delegation is coming to the UNAA convention thats why they are tabling the dual citizenship
bill. Ever since the Ugandans in the diaspora asked it's now 2 years or more, please it's high time they stopped treating us
with contempt.
