THE EX MD OF THE NEW TIMES KEPT IN NDAHIRO'S SAFE HOUSES

Since the last few days, the reknown journalist and admnistrator's whereabouts are not known. For starters, JB Sanyu has been under intense harassment by Ndahiro Emmanuel, the intellegince boss and Chairman of the Board of The New Times. People in Kigali know very well, why the spy chief fell out with JB and why the spy has been harassing him.

For the last 4 years, JB has been in Kigali, in courts, his passport confiscated by Ndahiro and always trailing at home. He's been without employment. Ndahiro has been using The New Times to write fake stories with wide allegations that JB embezzled the company money. Ndahiro and Bideri's malicious witch hunt against this brilliant young is a shame.

Now, the young man is rotting in some unknown safe house. I have read on this website people appealing to the President, human rights organizations, international media organizations that protect journalists and freedoms but in vain.

Ndahiro has deployed security operatives to terrorize his family, and the wife and his two kids are hiding from these monsters. Ndahiro's action meted against JB's family seem to be blessed by his boss. How can the President allow his spy chief to continue harassing the likes of JB? I am reliably told that JB approached the RPF secretariat but received no help because Ndahiro could not take any instruction from SG Ngarambe. The old man, then advised JB to appeal to the Chairman of RPF who is the President. Nothing much has been done till the young man is now detained and being tortured in a safe house.

Why should RPF leadership look on as Ndahiro is making cadres suffer, flee the country and rot in safe houses? JB may rot and die in prison, but his refusal to be used by Ndahiro in writing or mudsling credible people in government still stands. Ndahiro's ambition to take over from Kagame when this last retires is known in the country. JB fell a victim of this man's ambition to become the next president by using the paper to destroy those he thinks (eg Musoni James, the finance minister, General Kayonga, General Kabarebe etc)are either close to the president or habouring similar ambition.

I challenge the media practitioners in Rwanda and in the region, the human rights organizations and the government to tell the whole world the whereabouts of JB, why he's been harrassed by Ndahiro, why Ndahiro has now deployed his security operatives to camp at JB's residence, why Ndahiro has vowed even to sale off his house under the pretext of recovering the said new times embezzled funds? As for the lady judge in Kacyiru court, she worked under Ndahiro's pressure to hang JB, but she did not know that JB was already in rotting in one of Ndahiro's safe houses. Rwanda's judiciary and prosecution institutions will never work independently when the likes of Ndahiro are busy manipulating them.

In case JB is still alive and his family members, don't give up the fight to search for the soul of JB and stay strong. Is true that Ndahiro may have bribed the vocal independent news papers in Kigali like Umuseso and Umuvugizi never to follow up JB's case? Please Kabonero and Gasasira have the courage to raise this matter in your next editions. I believe for sure that JB has been close to you, and that you are known to be crusaders of the truth and expose injustices. Don't allow the new times, government paper to continue their biased campaign aimed burrying your fellow journalist.

Once again I challenge the President who claims to be a strong human rights protector to intervene and save JB from his spy cum monster, release him from the safe house where he is rotting and provide security to his young family that is now languishing in families.

I am in Kigali and working in the media for the last the years. I have been reading what you guys have been publishing about Rwanda, and particularly the notorious acts of Ndahiro Emmanuel.

Now the sad news is that after almost three weeks in detained in a safe house, a journalist and former MD of the New times has been killed by no other person as than Ndahiro who has been at the helm of making his life impossible.

My appeal is to organizations like CPJ (committee to protect journalists) and RSF (reporters sans frontiers) to launch an inquiry is this type of killing. Forget about what The New Times has been reporting since you all know that this paper belongs to his tormentor and killer Ndahiro. JB's residence is under hostage by Ndahiro's security boys, while Sanyu's family has been harassed and forced to leave the residence for fear of their lives.

I hope that my appeal to these two organizations and others at large with that mission will assist so that JB is either given a decent burial or be released if he is in one of these safe houses operated by Ndahiro.

Information reaching us here in Kigali has revealed that Ndahiro has finally achieved his mission of eliminating Sanyu John Bosco, a former Managing Director and tough journalist of The New times, the only daily paper in Rwanda, who once also served in the same position at Radio Contact before Ndahiro Emmanuel, Rwanda's intelligence chief and a cousin to President Kagame trailed him and has making his life difficult.

Well his death (if true) comes at a time when he has been under house arrest and was kidnapped from home by Ndahiro's security operatives on Sunday 5th October 2008. Later the NSS (National Security Services) or call them black mamba penetrated the judiciary to push for JB's persecution. Last Friday, the judge was forced to pass a verdict handing over a sentence of 5 years to JB, yet the poor lady judge did not know that she was passing a judgment on someone who has been in a safe house and already dead. Ndahiro via his NSS monsters managed to dupe her! The New times, where Ndahiro was the Chairman of the Board since more than the 10 years has been running stories, pinning JB for embezzlement. Now that JB is no more in this world, what else are they going to fabricate? Like Ndahiro, Bideri is another failure in life but has been at the fore front of harassing Sanyu. For both of you, your days are also numbered! JB is gone, but his family and friends are around and will ensure that you too are dealt with.

As for the family of JB, you should (with us friends of the deceased) fight alongside you till when justice prevail. JB may have died (but my heart tells me that he is done because Ndahiro is a real monster) but we know that he died because he refused to be part of Ndahiro's camp whose objectives is to destroy other people's reputation and credibility especially leaders and prosperous business men and women within the ruling party. I am reliably informed that JB shared this with some prominent persons in government including President Kagame. However one wonders why he must have died or even been tortured by Ndahiro the monster for being acting professional in denying Ndahiro and Bideri (when this one whose still in Orinfor and a board member of The New times) to use the paper to bring other leaders down?

Whether JB is dead, or still holed up in Ndahiro's safe house, something must be done by the President (because he too is one of the founders of The New times) and a strong leader by all standards. Since Ndahiro is known to act (or pretend to act) in his name, the President owes JB's family and the media fraternity an explanation on the death or disappearance of his one time employee. Another option for the President could be to set up a commission of inquiry into the disappearance and eventual death of JB Sanyu.

Ndahiro's nasty actions and attitudes reminds all people in Rwanda who lived in Uganda about Amin and Obote's regimes where families lost many sons and daughters and have never buried them till today.

Since this is a total violation of human rights and abuse of office by a senior government official, Human rights organizations and international media organizations whose mandate is to protect individual rights and journalist's plight should stand up and be counted.

If JB is dead, then may his soul rest in peace. But if he's held up in a safe house, then we kindly request H.E Kagame to save his life and hand him back to his family in Kicukiro. The NSS operatives surrounding his residence in Kicukiro should also be withdrawn to allow his wife and kids to return home.

The Editor RK , I would like through you to thank Captain Vincent for very useful information he keeps sharing with your readers to enhance their understanding about political predicament and their leaders in Uganda particularly M7 and his henchmen.

The last piece about Amama Mbabazi checkmates Museveni is a must for all to read and confirms my personal conclusions I had reached when Museveni came out publicly to defend Amama Mbabazi in the current NSSF/Temangalo saga and for discrediting the committee that has been investigating the saga even before it had finished writing a report of their findings. One finds this extremely annoying and disappointing to see a head of state shamelessly interfering in the process of establishing wrong-doing by a Parliamentary Committee whose powers are that of High Court and members of Parliament, particularly on opposition side or other political parties, keeping mum about this despicable development on part of country's president!

If a president says that he knows who "coached" David Jamwa, MD NSSF and Aryamanya Mugisha, Executive Director NEMA to say what they told the committee then what will one expect the MPS on the committee to report? He has already interfered with the proceedings of Parliamentary Committee contrary to the Country's Constitution! Doesn't the Constitution have sections to deal with such interference by the head of state? Why are opposition parties silent about this? Who else will condemn his behavior if the parties mentioned above do not? If a head of state can openly condone corruption and its attendant schemes by his ministers and appointed officials who else has the will to fight it, Mr.President?

What is even more disappointing are some of the MPS on the committee investigating Temangalo saga going in for a minority report to exonerate the parties involved. You, MPS, as leaders of this country with mandates from your constituencies, if you cannot correct wrongs for the sake of our country and future generations, who will do it? Agreed you call a spade a hoe but remember the price you will pay whether you like it or not will be heavy for you and your children. By doing what you are doing as leaders you destroy the country s moral fabric because those you lead are watching and at appropriate time, you will be paid in the same currency. All our leaders have failed our country because they do not lead by good examples.

M7 has in many of his decisions and actions shown that he will never discipline or condemn anyone who supports him no matter how grave that person s mistake or crime is. Even where he has attempted to do so, he does it publicly but behind scenes he does the opposite. This is a tragedy and the reason why we in Uganda will remain lagging behind. This comes in handy to support what Capt. Vincent is saying about Amama Mbabazi checkmating Museveni because Amama, knows what his boss has been doing and what he does and so does Museveni about Amama. The Jim Muhwezis, the Tumukundes, the Kahinda Otafiires, Tinyes, know a lot of rot about Museveni and he will not touch them if they did anything wrong. In case of Muhwezi for being taken to court, there is a compromise somewhere and whether people like it or not Museveni fears him because of what I have said above. But where matters have reached between Museveni and Amama, blackmail has set in, taking us to a climax of power struggle the results of which will be interesting to see. Readers keep you eyes open.

But one thing disappoints me and may be many of fellow readers of RK. This is the position other political parties have taken in face of all these shameful incidents. Why don't political parties publicly condemn what is taking place? Unless boldness and common sense prevails and political parties put their differences aside, come together and declare political war on Museveni, this country is doomed.

Thanks for keeping us posted. Today i was reading through the list of presidential advisors and assistants in state house. I was shocked. The people on this list are relatives. I will dig out one example,The Presidentail advisor on Political affairs (number 33) Mr Ezra Kikuri is the biological Father of Mrs Alex Otude Byoga (number 67) who is the Private secretary in charge of Literacy. You may now wonder how these jobs are created! A bunch of people doing nothing but eating taxpayers money!

Just check the list more , you will be surprised!

Thank you for the list of parasites (shame). Now Ugandans have the list of 107 jiggers by names. Don't these people even feel ashamed of doing nothing, but getting paid hefty salaries and allowences. When do they get to meet the damn president and advise him over what? It is even embarassing to the fact that some of them are PhD holders and professors.

How parliament continues to approve this kind of expenditure to uninterrupted, when Makerere University is closing and hospitals a empty of drugs and medical staff, is mind boggling. The blame over this list of shame must fall squarely on parliament, which religiously approves the State House Budget even when they know it is an acceptable for a president to have 107 advisors. A president that have 107 advisors must be brain dead and should be releaved of his duty in public interest.

I even wonder what are the functions of Ministers. Ugandans must agree with Betty Kamya's question, "where is president Museveni heart"?

I think Captain Vincent is a thriller. After reading his piece "Amama Mbabazi Checkmates Museveni" of 19th Oct 2008, it rang a bell and forced me to ask the question: "of all the law firms in the world, why does Amama Mbabazi choose a French one to deposit his will?". But intuitively the answer came to me via Rwanda.

Anybody who reads and follows the Revelations according Radio Katwe his or her guess can be as good as mine. It is only through the French government that Museveni can be nailed over the assasination of the president of another country (Rwanda), late Presidednt Abyarimanna.

It was the shooting down of Abyarimanna's plane that triggered the 1994 genocide. And Museveni and Kagame were behind missile's trigger. Amama must be genius. If he had deposited his will with an American or a British law firm, it would have been as good as lost or destroyed exhibit; because the Americans and British are comrades in the Rwanda genocide.

We also may not rule out that the hand that assisinated the late Luerent Kabila, former president of DRC was pushed by Museveni and Kagame.

Amama, if you are a thief who has finally caught the most wanted thief or criminal; then you have got yourself a plea-bargain sentence. Your NSSF-Temangalo land sin can be forgiven and you are set free.

The Presidential Jet Gulfstream 3 was sold and money pocketed by Museveni and the present Bank Governer using their fake bank, is it called Tropical Bank.

There were some comments 2 months ago about UBL and it's exploitation. Here is the latest.There was a Kidde promotion where people used to win things like airtime, rent and grocery shopping vouchers. It was hugely succesful according to the management. But not to all. I have a friend of mine who was working as a route developer in Kasese marketing the Kidde promo who told me despite of appeals to have his and colleauges money to be paid, nothing has yet sufficed. Some one in Luzira must have feasted on the money of these poor little chaps who worked very hard to promote the product. All they tell them is "keep checking your accoutnts" Someone up there should tell the world what happened to that money.
