Manager replies:- We understand your concern and it is valid. By "coordinating the evidence", we assume the reader means corroborating or cross checking the evidence. There are people who are already doing that.

There are some patriotic Ugandans in Europe (London, Sweden etc) and north America, who have been documenting and taking photographs of the property illegally acquired by the Museveni family from money swindled from the Ugandan government.

There are other Ugandans who have also secretly acquired information about banks where the Museveni family money is hidden and obtained bank statements and the names of the cover owners and companies.

So there is an invisible effort going on to make sure that when Museveni leaves power, his family will be stripped of all the wealth that he has stolen at the expense of the Ugandan citizen.

For example, there is a discussion going on about what to do with Museveni's house at Rwakitura.

Some people are saying that it should be taken over by the Uganda government after Museveni and turned into a presidential lodge for western Uganda.

Property owned by Janet Museveni from stolen Uganda government money like Roofings Uganda Limited, Malaysian Furniture, Garden City Complex, Speke Resort Munyonyo, Crane Bank, Imperial Botanical Beach Hotel, Imperial Royale Hotel, TERP Consult, the house which Lt. Col. Muhoozi Kainerugaba owns on top of a hill near Lubowa as you are heading toward Entebbe, the Entebbe Ground Handling Services ENHAS and Orient Bank owned by Sam Kutesa, and many, many other properties are also to be seized by the next Uganda government.

Assessors are being contacted to discuss the details of how these illegally acquired properties can be seized from the Museveni family and returned to their rightful owners, the people of Uganda.

These efforts in themselves are not enough, we will all need to come together to break the curse of backwardness that has been inflicted on us. But at least it is a start, future generations will build on that.

But what the reader who wrote to us needs to know for now is that many Ugandans still don't know the head of state whom we have. Before the internet, you could not talk openly about the dark side of Museveni because they would finish you off very fast.

Many people think that the reason that Museveni is behaving the way he does is because he has been too long in power. They don't know that he came, and has always been a criminal to power and that is how he has been all this time.

People don't know that as soon as Museveni took power, he started systematically abusing it. This is why we should be patient and read the testimonies as they come in so that Ugandans get the full picture.

In 1986, when he had just sat on the seat of power and it was not yet even warm, Museveni and his half-brother Salim Saleh were already at work doing what they know best - stealing. They went and sold off the coffee Uganda had in its warehouses in Mombasa when Ugandans were still celebrating that "at least we can now sleep".

Even the land which belonged to the Coffee Marketing Board and the Uganda High Commission in Mombasa was stolen and sold by Museveni and his brother. This myth that they got spoiled by being long in power should not be laid to rest. These guys came in "hot", and dirty from the beginning.

Ugandans should remind themselves that Museveni without any shame has been giving land in Uganda to "investors" free of charge, he is acting as the agent of foreign interests. Also, he has ignored the warnings by the National Environmental Authority that some of this land is on wetlands. Are these the action of a normal mind?

His wife, Janet Kataha Museveni, became the first graduate in Makerere University's history to get a degree in education without ever fulfilling important requirements like doing teaching practice.

We should ask ourselves that if Museveni can give millions of dollars to his henchmen like Hassan Basajjabalaba from Bank of Uganda, how much do you think he takes for himself, as selfish as he is?

In 2004, Museveni wrote to the Governor of Bank of Uganda requesting for three million dollars. Museveni said that he wanted to give the money to his brother General Salim Saleh because Saleh had helped Museveni during his very difficult years.

He wrote talking about how Saleh had rescued Museveni when some soldiers detailed Museveni at a roadblock around Kireka in 1980, so as a reward Bank of Uganda should give Saleh the three million dollars.

If you want to confirm whether this particular story, you take time and ask any person you know who works in Bank of Uganda. You may also ask them if it is not true that letters on the blue official State House paper come to Bank of Uganda with Museveni demanding any money that he wants for his personal use.

Whenever Museveni flies outside Uganda, it is a must that he takes with him at least one million U.S. dollars as his per diem and when he returns he never returns it or accounts for it as he should do. Let anybody come out and challenge us on this if it is not true.

Can you imagine that when the government embarked on the CNN advertisement campaign of promoted Uganda called "Gifted By Nature", Museveni wrote to the Ministry of Tourism directing that most of the budget of the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) be channeled to the company which was to carry out the promotion locally.

That company was TERP Consult owned by Museveni?s son-in-law, Odrek Mugisha Rwabwogo. So all the activities which the UTB had planned to carry out like setting up Uganda exhibitions in European cities to promote tourism to Uganda had to be suspended. This was in 2005.

This is just a very tiny preview of how Museveni has abused the Republic of Uganda. That is why we have asked earlier that if Museveni can give foreign "investors" millions of dollars free and nothing to ordinary Ugandan investors and he has been habitually ordering Bank of Uganda to give Hassan Basajjabalaba millions of dollars to "invest", how much do you think a selfish and insensitive man like Museveni would steal for himself?

Just yesterday (January 19) we got information that the low cost housing estate which is located at Nsambya and opposite Mukwano Industries which it seems used to belong to Uganda Railways, has been given to an "investor", Habib Kajjimu on orders of Museveni.

In fact when you read the stories on Radio Katwe, you can see that they are not very different from the corruption scandals you read about in Uganda's newspapers. But sometimes the Ugandan papers fear to publish what they have or else they can be shut down or harassed by State House.

So an inportant issue here is that we need to inform as many Ugandans as we can reach to first know who (a monster? or a man?) they have as a president.
