British etiquette experts in Uganda to train M7 in table manners
Last updated : 05 Oct 2007, Kampala

We got some information some months ago that as the CHOGM plans continue to gather momentum, some British experts in protocol and etiquette were flown to Uganda to help Museveni get CHOGM compatible.

Those people who have sat in the same room with him at state dinners know that M7 is a very crude man. He eats like a greedy pig and it is an embarrassment to people.

The British trainers were brought in from a School of Butlers in London which is used to train butlers for the British diplomatic service and the Royal Family.

We have not yet been able to get updates on how Museveni's lessons in eating properly have gone. When we first got this story we laughed our asses off and thought it was from an opposition supporter trying to smear dirt on the dictator.

We have since got info from others inside that it could be true. But we realised it is not so surprising because dictators usually have an exaggerated sense of their own importance, which leads them to disregard common courtesy. A man who does not value human life may think it is too small to respect things like table manners. If we get more details, definitely we shall share the lugambo with you, our readers. We shall also be telling you more about M7's crude mannerisms at the dinner table.

Even if the project to civilise M7 during chogm is a success, our 'enlightened' NRM mafia government has already succeeded to embarassed us Ugandans. Instead of using this chance to showcae our traditions, hospitality and even show the good side of our different cultures, they have sent a wrong message that in Uganda naturally we don't have table manners. Some people may think Ugandans are so backward so we must import good manners and copy etiquete before we are 'ready for chogm'. Shape up NRM!

Meanwhile, we have got information that as the M7 regime sinks more into the mud, it has now moved to personalize the state.

We are hearing that the plans for the Independence Day celebrations on 9th October have now been taken over by State House.

It has always been the Government of Uganda which prints invitation cards and invites guests to Kololo Airstrip or other national venues. The guests were guests of the government of Uganda and the people of Uganda.

What we are hearing from different sources is that it has been decided that starting with this year, all the arrangements and the printing of invitation cards is to be handled only by State House.

The sources at State House say that there will not be any cards for members of the official opposition and anybody who is deemed as not supporting the dictator M7. The Kololo function is to be made strictly an NRM thing.

THis will not be new, but only a continuation of displaying of good "vision" from our "enlightened" NRM. It started with Labour day on May 1 this year when the whole thing was turned into a shame and made into an NRM function. When the FDC got wind of it, they boycotted Kololo and instead had their own celebrations at Kibuli.

That is they way how Museveni has destroyed Uganda.
