What is behind Toro kingdom wrangles?

These days the wrangles in the Toro kingdom are always in the news. The Prime Minister or Omuhikirwa of Toro in recent years, Stephen Nyabongo Rwakijuma, was replaced by David Rusa.

It is claimed that Rusa is a Mubiito (the royal clan). There is another man called Chris Kamurasi, who is the current head of the Babiito clan, who is also said to be a Mubiito.

Rusa is an agent in the Internal Security Organisation. That is his true story. He has been fronted by State House to rise to the top of the Toro establishment in order to secure the Museveni foothold in the kingdom.

Rusa's real clan, which most people do not know, is a Mugumba, but he poses as a Mubiito.

Kamurasi is a former banker and although he poses as a Mubiito, he is actually from the Muchwamba clan.

Another vocal pro-Museveni cultural leader in Toro is Kenneth Muhangura. Muhangura also poses as a Mubiito, but his real identity is that he is also a Muchawamba.

He was born out of wedlock and his mother's name is Ngaju.

These men and the Prime Minister David Rusa are all part of a scheme by State House to gain a foothold in the Toro kingdom and help Museveni buy up large acres of land.

It is his scheme to become the de-facto king of Uganda.
