The shocking picture of how the First Family is stealing everything in Uganda
Last updated : 30 Oct 2007, Kampala

Through secret deals, fake companies, front men, third parties, naked theft, black mail and extortion, the extended First Family has a hand in every pie in this country. There are very, very few big businesses here in this dirty, disorganised tiny Kampala city of ours which the Museveni clan has no interest. Everyday Ugandans wake up to see incredible stories in the papers of how much their tax money, property and wealth has been stolen.

Museveni is the Thief-in-Chief, chief eater, key motivator and protector and if he wasn't there all the other smaller thieving fishes would not survive and steal so boldly.

In partnership with their foreign friends and advisers the revolutionary leader has been singing the song of "privatisation" for more than 15 years. Even a whole ministry was setup just to take care of that. But have you realized something? Every time the property and wealth of all Ugandans is transferred to private hands, Museveni doesnt just give them valuable assets for free, also they get billions from our tax cash to run the business! Why doesn't government retain ownership, hire new management and use the same billions to run that public company for the benefit of all Ugandans who are the rightful owners?

Think about that as you read what has happened on this list:

State House - Entebbe: Most Ugandans are crying about the money spent by Yoweri Museveni i.e. US$54 million dollars to build a new home complete with 2 underground bunkers one for himself and another attached to one of the wings for the visiting VIPs (call them fellow Mafias).

All the cement was imported from Dubai. By the way now we hear that M7 wants to promote Hima factory by given them part of a National Park for Cement production. Ugandans take note that as in the Mabira forest , 450 hectares of public land are being given to Hima Cement which is a private company to do their mining business. There conditions are not clear and Ugandans who are the collective owners of that land have not been clearly told why or how a private business came to be allocated all this wealth.

Most of the money on this State House project has been stolen since what Ugandans do not know, is that this was a grant from the Chinese Government. All the equipment came from China. So fellow Ugandans, Museveni just put up fake companies pretending to be doing work, yet it was a channel to steal our tax money.

You may also wish to remember the fight between two ministers regarding who is controller the so-called budget for the construction.

The Chinese company doing the work was paid by their government at home. To date, most Ugandan-based sub contractors have not been paid and are now bankrupted. When you hear that the govermnet spent $54 million, ask yourself where and how? What ahppened to the Chinese grant? US$ 54 million where has it gone?

State House - Kampala: With Entebbe finished, the great "revolutionary" of our times Yoweri T. Museveni is going to steal the Nakesero State House. First, they will abandon the same and using his boys and girls in the rubber stamp parliament, a motion will be passed to reward our great leader a retirement home. The area of this State House is more than 20 acres of very prime land.

Of course he does not need it as a home, but will have it a prime residential area complete with apartments for himself to bring back money stolen. Museveni and his ruling clan already own most of the prime land in Kampala city. Their greedy eyes are on this 20 acres. Watch and pray for your country.

Uganda Broadcasting Land: This former Radio Uganda/UTV offices were based on about 15 acres of the most prime hill in Kampala overlooking the entire City.

This land was "allocated" to the so-called Ayaa Brother (from Sudan, yet in private it is no secret that Museveni dislikes the Sudanese) to build a Hilton Hotel over looking the current Nakasero State House.

Gentlemen, unless these people think Ugandans have now become fools, Okello House was overlooking State House when our man was "most popular", do you still remember what happened to Okello House? Now in these days do you accept that the same man who has now turned into his true colours of having all along been a thug allow a high rise building overlooking State House as a hotel where you can have any one shoot at him?

These Ayaa guys have no money and are known cheats in town. They do not pay taxes and their workers are always complaining of non-payment and mistreatment. Do you think they are competent to complete such a project? Please remember these are the same crooks who have just stolen money by declaring to have wheat in a bonded warehouse and using it as collateral to get money from a bank. Now, you hear the work has stalled at the so-called Hilton.

Here is the game plan: some so-called relatives will now claim to buy out the Ayaa brothers (after all it is normal for another company to buy the other one after it has failed). When this happens our so-called God-sent First Family will have 20 + 15 acres (Nakasero State House + former UTV respectively) of the most prime land in the city to invest their loot. They have stolen so much money a lot of it is outside so now they are cooking up these sophisticated schemes to invest some of it here under our noses as we look on.

Fellow Ugandans, sleeping is not enough, wake up! Our "revolutionary" leader is looting us big time!

Speke Resort Munyonyo: Fellow Ugandans, congratulations. You have just completed building a high class hotel for Yoweri Museveni and family. Has he thanked you for this wonderful gift?

Who says this is Sudhir Ruparelia's grand hotel? By the way you wait for another story coming soon on this so-called "businessman" Sudhir but for now understand that Sudhir is just a front. Those Ugandans who have been following the official story know Sudhir was given 8.8 billions shillings. Do you remember how minister Isaac Musumba fumbled in parliament last year in December when he was asked to explain how our tax money came to be allocated to a private business Meera Investments Ltd? These mafia government pretends to be very smart. There is a stupid law which says government does not check the accounts if they invest less than 50% of shares in a venture. So Ugandans, what do you think is happening? Then they take our tax money and put in their private businesses but they make sure it is less than 50% of the budget. So no one has the right to check and see how our money is being used. It is a risk free loan and gift at the same time.

Do you really want to understand this minority share trick? Many of you already saw it, but maybe you did not understand well. So you can revise again on this website just click this link http://allafrica.com/stories/200710090610.html

The so-called minority shares of government in Sudhirs hotel are in truth Musevenis shares. Mobutu must be envying Yoweri. Smart chap.

Kisozi Ranch: In 1988 or thereabout, National Enterprises Corporation (NEC) run by the army bought this farm from the same man who also owned Entebbe Resort Hotel. The stated objective was to make the army self sustaining by engaging in some commercial projects. So the farm was paid for by Ministry of Defence. The owner wanted money to complete his hotel but yet was broke so he sold this farm.

This ranch had about 800-1,000 cattle by the time of sale and was modestly well equipped though not so modern.

Our poor soldiers should ask themselves how their commander in chief General Yoweri T. Museveni suddenly became the owner of Kisozi Ranch and proudly says the cattle there were passed on by his grandfather (or is it the hostage he keeps in State House as his father.)

Funny man, he cannot explain why a daddy who was rich enough to pass on such a fortune could not even pay his school fees and had to do odd jobs. How did it come to be that the son had to stay away from his father's "palace", instead the poor boy was raised in other peoples homes?

On a serious note, we should as Ugandans put to task Museveni on how this ranch turned into his property or was it abuse of office as Minister for Defence? Actually this is why he was minister for a long time to protect the theft of tax money and such property. The MoD is the biggest loophole through which our money is stolen.

Uganda Commercial Bank: Karim Hirji you have heard, is now the "proud owner" of this property which was built from the sweat of all Ugandans.

The former UCB (RIP) died a very painful death, among the undertakers were our "brilliant" people like BoU governor Tumusiime-Mutebile, former Finance minister Gerald Sendaula. UCB owned so much land, buildings and assets that were valued by some at over $271 million or 460 billion shillings. In its dilapidated state at that time, the 16 storey headquarters on Kampala road alone was valued at over $12 million (20 billion shillings). In the year UCB was sold (2001), UCB reported a profit of almost $11 million (about 18 billion shillings). But M7 and his henchmen were determined to throw away our heritage and nothing could stop them. Do you still remember how much UCB was sold for? It was just $19.5 million ( about 32 billion shillings).

But When Stanbic Bank bought the UCB shares, this building was not included in the sale, fellow Ugandans. Do you still remember when they said "we are a bank and not real estate agents"?

Now let someone explain to me how a professional bank like Stanbic Bank could just wake up in the morning and sell this prime building. If they were not interested in the building at first, what made them change their minds to buy it, then quickly sell it afterwards? The great revolutionary is the owner of the building period. Lets stop sleeping and wake up to the grand theft our government property.

Shimoni Land and Shimoni Demo Primary School. Prince AlWaleed Bin Talal is now among the now 10th richest men. His company has assets of about $25 billion (someone told me Uganda's annual budget was about $3 billion). Prince Alwaweed cannot fail to build a US$60 million dollar hotel. The man is a serious businessman. Check his website: http://www.kingdom.com.sa

So what has gone wrong fellow Ugandans? I have been investigating this issue and I must state, that Prince AlWaleed has been warned not to get into this business of having minority share holders who do not bring cash on the table but promise to give you free government land and tax exceptions as "their equity". So far the Prince has behaved as we expect of honest businessmen by staying away.

Garuga Land (Entebbe Road): All this "free land" (contested by Buganda Kingdom) has been stolen by the ruling brothers who are now building villas using government (your tax) money for so-called CHOGM. We Ugandans love parties and getting excited for nothing but this CHOGM means completely nothing for you. A few big shots just come, sit around talk about nothing then go back to their countries. It will not change anything. Infact we have become very much poorer because this CHOGM is a cover for the greatest daylight robbery this country has ever seen.

Jinja Golf Course Land: The same brothers allocated their "friends from Malaysia" this prime land overlooking the source of the Nile. We know who the true owners are.

Lujo Farm in Entebbe (Behind Nsamizi Hill): This was a farm for training our veterinary students. How it turned into "State House Farm" (read private propertry of our revolutionaries) only God can tell. The land titles in Entebbe land office have been "lost" but are to be found in Rwakitura.

CMI Land on Buganda Road: Fellow Ugandans, this land and flats belonged to our consultants and doctors at Mulago Hospital. How did CMI get this land, which has now been sold to Sudhir (read Museveni)?

We gather from our sources that Nakumatt Supermarket from Kenya is on its way to take the land among others.

Kitante Primary School: A man who pretends he loves Ugandans by offering them UPE is now selling schools. Ugandans, I am very sorry, we are big fools. Let's keep sleeping.

Nsambya Police Barracks: God bless the poor policemen, this land belongs to either the church or Kabaka. The true revolutionary wants to sell it. Plans are underway. Keep your eyes and ears open.

Butabika Mental Hospital: The God-Sent family does not even respect the sick. Major General Kahinda Otafiire has been given express instructions to take this land and was looking for Arab investors who have declined. Note, some 3 years ago the World Bank provided about $24 million to make a computerized land information system and all land titles but our liberators frustrated the efforts till the Kenyan consultant in charge got fed up and left. Without "kavuyo" eating becomes hard.

Gemtel in Juba: Minister John Nasasira should stop fooling the country that directors are not known. The Museveni family are shareholding owners.

BIDCO land: The greed never stops, the shareholders are our revolutionaries

Mabira forest: International business can be tricky if you are in a hurry with your loot. Commitments made to supply timber to a Belgium company have not been fulfilled since the days of Congo misadventure. The buyers want their timber or are now threatening to sue our revolutionaries. They must find a source. SCOUL was just a diversion they wanted timber. Mabira is still not safe. Repeat, our public forests are not safe.

Nytil: Once the largest factory in East and Central Africa employing over 4,000 people. Our revolutionaries stole it but forgot that cotton is grown in Busoga, Teso and Acholi. Too bad for the country.

National Housing Corporation: Stolen by our revolutionaries who wish to control the housing sector in Uganda

Garden City: African Development Bank was taken for a big, big ride. Our revolutionaries are just laundering their money. By the time African Development Bank smelt a rat in 2002, it was too late.

Our revolutionaries promised to pay back the loan from the shop proceeds but are actually paying back using stolen money.

Standing at more than US$ 15 billion by some estimates, our revolutionary leader is fast being the second richest president to Eduardo Dos Santos of Angola.

People think Mobutu was a thief, meet Yoweri Museveni.

Next, we trace the properties of this evil man. Ugandans who love to sleep, have stopped thinking and working, will be shocked.
